Kathy Brown of The Teacher’s Pet will be presenting a Wee Woolies workshop on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mountain Home. This is a hand-work class, so no sewing machines are needed. Be sure to bring your lunch as we will be taking a limited lunch break.
Learn to applique with wool the Wee Wollie way! From wool on wool to wool on cotton and flannel mixed in from time to time, students will learn the tips and trick that will allow them to work with each media successfully. Pattern and/or kit is required.
We will be making the “Winter at Pine Lake” pattern. You can order your pattern and/or kit from Kathy’s website at www.the-teachers-pet.com. The wool applique kit is recommended as it contains all the embellishments that you need. One thread kit (5 spools) contains enough thread to make two projects, so you could go together with someone and get just one thread kit.
Pattern Only: $7.00
Wool Applique Kit: $24.95
(Kit contains all wool, rusty jingle bells, hand dyed velvet ribbon and antique brass seed beads in a hand stamped rustic linen bag)
Rustic Moire Thread Kit (5 spools): $25.00
Extra Linen Bag: $5.00
The cost of the workshop is $30 per student, and sign-ups will begin at the April meetings!
If you have any questions or want to sign up for the workshop, I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 424-7801.
