2025 Raffle Quilt

Emily Duncan is Chairing our Raffle Quilt this year.

A quilt with a pattern of stars and squares.

The original quilt pattern is titled Star Crossed, designed by British quilter Lynn Goldsworthy of Lily Quilts and published in the March 2023 edition of Today’s Quilter. Using a computer program, Raffle Quilt member Sharon Crozier modified the pattern to add borders to the design. With this modification the quilt was renamed “Chasing Stars”.

All fabric used in the construction of the quilt is batik, a type of resist printing process in which wax is applied to the material and then submerged in dye. The wax prevents the dye from reaching the fibers, creating a nearly pattern-less appearance.
