Community Education

Sewing Seeds for Kids Home School Classes–Jonna Butler is the visionary for our Community Education efforts in the guild. Guild Members Rita Bergstrom and Rosita Forster are Instructors for both home schooled children and adults at Salvation Army. Jonna Butler also initiated Sewing Seeds for adults, and Diane Siddons works primarily with Jonna and Major Michelle at Salvation Army Center.

Both programs are blossoming. The goal is to teach sewing and quilting skills to those in the community that may not have the opportunity (school and work) or finances to take classes elsewhere.
